Terms and Conditions
The user hereby agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Astute Electronics its members, officers, employees and other agents and representatives from and against any and all liabilities, judgments, claims, settlements, losses, damages, penalties, obligations and expenses, including attorney’s fees and expenses and other professional fees and expenses, incurred or suffered by such person arising from, by reason of, or in connection with any loss, damage or injury to person or property arising from, by reason of or in connection with the gate-keeper or its related internet website and database hereunder. This indemnification shall survive delivery of the Goods to Purchaser and any subsequent sale or other transfer of the Goods to a third party.
The SIM in the GATE-KEEPER is the property of Astute Electronics and is on contract with Vodacom. Astute will, as part of this agreement, pay Vodacom the monthly fees due in respect of the SIM contained in your Gate-Keeper for up to 14 days after it has been registered, irrespective of the payment of the invoice referred to in this contract however Astute Electronics T/A Gate-Keeper reserve the right to instruct Vodacom to discontinue service to the SIM and Cell number contained in your Gate-Keeper if payment is not received within 60 Days of invoice. The user hereby agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Astute Electronics its members, officers, employees and other agents and representatives from and against any and all liabilities, judgments, claims, settlements, losses, damages, penalties, obligations and expenses, including attorney’s fees and expenses and other professional fees and expenses, incurred or suffered arising from such disconnection.
Once you have made a payment and in order to avert the possible disconnection, please check the status of your account by logging in to our web site and selecting “Billing details”. Due to delays between banks, there could be up a 48 delay before the payment reflects. IF your payment does not reflect after 48 hours, please contact us. It is VITAL that you use the gate-keeper cell number and andvoice number as a reference when making payment. IF you own multiple gate-keepers, Please pay the invoices seperatley as this is an automated system and we cannot allocate bulk payments without a remittance advice.
Re-instatement of service after disconnection :
Astute electronics will not be liable to re-instate the SIM card and associated Cell number if the service is disconnected as a result of non-payment or payments made without the correct reference number.
Re-instatement charge :
The user will need to supply his own SIM for his Gate-Keeper if the SIM card provided under this agreement has been discontinued. Astute will re-instate the web service after receipt of outstanding monies as well as reconnection fee of R 100.00.
Gate-Keeper carries a one year off site warranty.
The warranty is voided under the following circumstances:
If the unit has been opened.
Incorrect voltage is supplied.
Water or moisture damage.
